Gorlyn
Gorlyn fabric is made from high-strength nylon 6.6, which has a higher tensile strength than normal and is the most commonly used nylon in tent construction. Gorlyn fabric is 4 to 5 times stronger than most other high-end lightweight fabrics used for tents. The weight is lower than regular tent fabrics.

Bach uses a coating of pure silicone, without any other chemicals. The coating is made in three layers, 2 base layers on the back and one layer on the front. This results in a particularly durable and water-repellent protection. The silicone treatment has no influence on the fabric strength of the fabrics, due to the higher melting point of 6.6 nylon.
